Founding Story

RC Legnini Company was established more than 50 years ago in the Northeast United States, built on a belief that the most meaningful construction work happens in the places that serve people most directly: senior living communities, places of worship, and the institutions that anchor neighbourhoods.

What followed was half a century of specialized renovation work, relationship by relationship, in some of the most purposeful environments in the region.

Over five decades, RC Legnini developed deep expertise in renovation work within occupied senior living facilities, healthcare environments, faith-based institutions, and community centres. Vigil Contracting was founded more than 26 years ago in the Maryland and Washington, D.C. metro area with one purpose: to help public housing authorities return vacant units to families as quickly and reliably as possible.

Over two decades, Vigil built a reputation defined by consistency, compliance, and a genuine commitment to the communities they served.

WHAT VIGIL BUILT

Operating across 20+ municipalities, Vigil became a trusted partner to housing authorities. That track record was built on showing up, meeting federal compliance requirements, and understanding the impact of returning units to families quickly.
